Academic Curriculum

  ASSESSMENT PROCEDURE/EVALUATION PATTERN :
 

The evaluation pattern adopted by the school is a Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) of the learning process.

The Students will be evaluated in scholastic as well as co-scholastic areas and the recorss will be communicated to the parents and regularly reviewed.

The Whole session is divided in two terms, viz
Term I, (From April to September) and
Term II (From October to March)

Each term comprises of Fromative Assessments (FA) and Summative Assessment

Will have four Formative Assessments(FA), and two Summative Assessments (SA)

FA – I 10% Apr- June Written Test ( 25 Marks / 1 hour & Non written( 25 Marks
FA – II 10% July- Aug Written Test ( 25 Marks / 1 hour & Non written( 25 Marks
SA – I 30% September Written Test ( 90 Marks / 3 hours
Second Term 50%
FA – III 10% Oct- Dec Written Test ( 25 Marks / 1 hour & Non written( 25 Marks
FA – IV 10% Jan- Feb Written Test ( 25 Marks / 1 hour & Non written( 25 Marks
SA – II 30% March Written Test ( 90 Marks / 3 hours


Assessment of Scholastic Areas Part 1 will be reported twice in a year and Co-scholastic Areas Part 2 and 3 will be reported once in a year.

The nine point grading scale for measuring Scholastic Achievements and five point grading scale for Co- Scholastic Areas is given below:
